Two Black and White Gala Costumes That Deserve A Special SCBWI Conference Blog Shout Out

Check out this dress by illustrator Amber Alvarez.  She did the black and white art, had it printed onto fabric, and made the dress.  Yup.  Made the dress herself.

And (right to left) Claudia Pearson, Jo Kittinger and Heather Montgomery's remarkable Rejection Letter outfits were funny and poignant.  (Remember, they're not rejecting YOU, they're just rejecting the submission.)
